Please join us this Friday, June 12 from 6:00 to 8:00pm for the opening reception of patrick ADAMS + teri DRYDEN: pieced TOGETHER at WheelHouse Art, LEX. This two-person exhibition brings together Lexington-based artist Patrick Adams and Louisville-based artist Teri Dryden, two artists whose abstract works are built through layering, collage, surface, and process. We will also have a Gallery Hop reception Friday, July 17th, 5 - 8pm. The show opens June 12th and it closes July25th.

Josephine Sculpture Park is partnering with The Ashventure to host a bi-weekly, all-levels yoga class in the event barn! Ashtin will guide you through a lovely all-levels class with views of blooming meadows, sculptures and woodlands from the comfort of the shaded, solid floor of the event barn. Please bring a yoga mat or towel (the floor is concrete) and water. All ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
This series is part of Josephine Sculpture Park's Wellness in the Wild program, strengthening community health through outdoor movement, the arts, and connection.
Join us for Starting Gate Storytime at Keeneland Library, where the horse is front and center in live readings of select children's stories. Each book is paired with a literacy, art, history, industry awareness, or STEM activity.
Buckles will also be on hand to brush up on his reading and spend time with young racing fans and horse lovers. This series is ideal for learners ages 3 through 7.

Danvile Summer Singers is a mixed choir now in its 39th year. It rehearses every Monday in June and July. Singers must be at least high school aged. There is no audition. The 2026 program will present American music in a wide variety of styles from the Revolutionary Era to the present. The final concert will be on Friday, July 30.

Headley Whitney Museum presents RODNEY HATFIELD & LYNN SWEET Retrospective Exhibit featuring over 200 works highlighting each artists' 50 year career. Rodney Hatfield (ArtSnake) original, unique, uninhibited abstract, figurative and landscape paintings. Lynn Sweet designed and built furniture as well as fresco and acrylic abstract and landscape paintings. This exhibit includes Hatfield and Sweet works on loan from private collections as well a pieces available for purchase. Exhibit runs through June 28. Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. $10 admission. Free for children 17 and younger and students with ID.

Come see the versatility, athleticism, and elegance of the American Saddlebred Horse at the 2026 Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show, July 6-11, 2026, at the KY Horse Park!
With exhibitions and classes, daily events, local vendors, food trucks, and more - there is fun for the whole family!
Created in 1937, to help fund the Junior League’s community works project, the horse show has grown to be the world’s largest outdoor American Saddlebred show and the first leg of the Saddlebred ‘Triple Crown.’
Today, the show attracts approximately 1,000 world-recognized competitors from the U.S. and Canada, and to date, has raised over four million dollars for charitable and civic organizations in Central Kentucky and over five million dollars in revenue for local merchants.
